About

AfrikaansNotas is a free study site for learners taking Afrikaans as a First Additional Language (FAL) in Grades 8 to 12. Everything is explained in English, with Afrikaans examples, so you can learn the language without getting stuck on the explanations.

Who writes the notes?

Every note is written by an experienced Afrikaans First Additional Language teacher who is also an IEB marker and a co-author of Afrikaans textbooks. That means the explanations focus on what learners actually get wrong, and what markers look for.

Our promises
